In early 2001, Disneyland Resort underwent its largest expansion at the time, introducing a second theme park, a luxury hotel, and an outdoor promenade. Twenty-five years later, Disney California Adventure Park, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Downtown Disney District continue to evolve and welcome families from around the globe.
To celebrate the 25th anniversaries of these destinations in 2026, you can enjoy attractions, food, merchandise, and more that pay homage to Disney history. These offerings enhance the festive atmosphere of the limited-time Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration.

Disney California Adventure 25th Anniversary
Disney California Adventure Park first opened its doors on February 8, 2001. Once a parking lot for Disneyland, it transformed into a lively theme park featuring attractions, shopping, and dining. Over the years, it has grown to include areas like Cars Land, Buena Vista Street, Pixar Pier, Avengers Campus, and San Fransokyo Square, with more developments planned for the future.
In celebration of the park's history, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will don brand-new outfits on Buena Vista Street for a limited period starting February 6. The designs, featuring sun motifs and a vibrant color palette, pay homage to the park's original opening and its golden opportunities.
