Black History Month is approaching, making it an ideal time to infuse your Disney Parks adventure with a touch of soul.

Whether you are eager to explore all the new attractions at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or create cherished family memories at Disneyland Resort in California, soulful experiences await at every turn. Enjoy cultural elements of music, art, food, and fun that offer unique opportunities for guests to “Celebrate Soulfully’’ in a distinctly Disney way.

Celebrate Soulfully and Black History Month at Disneyland Resort

Here’s how you can enjoy Celebrate Soulfully at Disneyland Resort:

2026 Celebrate Gospel Concerts at Downtown Disney

For the first time, the cherished “Celebrate Gospel” concerts will illuminate the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage at Disneyland Resort over two weekends in 2026: February 20-21 and February 27-28. Headlining the weekends will be Grammy Award-winning gospel artists, with Bishop Hezekiah Walker performing on February 21 and Yolanda Adams on February 28.

This inspiring annual event, which is open to the public without the need for park admission, will also showcase community choirs from throughout Southern California during two weekends of uplifting entertainment.

Vibrant Displays Honoring Black Leaders

To mark Black History Month, a new heritage trail featuring dynamic displays will be introduced throughout the resort, celebrating influential Black leaders, artists, and thinkers from both the past and present.

From Frontierland to Hollywood Land and various locations in between, each display will highlight how these inspiring individuals have shaped culture and industries across generations. Be on the lookout for these tributes, including Leah Chase at Tiana’s Palace, Martha Blanding on Main Street, U.S.A., Floyd Norman on Buena Vista Street, and more!
