If you thought the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster featuring The Muppets was just a fast-paced thrill, think again. The excitement is being cranked up for Muppet enthusiasts (and for those who love accelerating from zero to 60 in 3 seconds) as guests speed through town to the biggest, loudest, most psychedelic Electric Mayhem concert of their lives. But, my groovy friends, it’s not only about the destination… It’s also about the journey to get there.

The revamped G-Force Records building at the end of Sunset Boulevard feels less like a queue and more like exclusive backstage access to The Muppets’ greatest hits. From the moment guests enter G-Force Records (now managed by Muppet real estate mogul, J.P. Grosse), they are surrounded by Muppets memorabilia, props, visual gags, and more — and of course, The Muppets themselves.

Quick references are packed with Muppet nods at every corner, showcasing the care and dedication that Walt Disney Imagineering invested in curating everything. And yes, many items from Muppet*Vision 3D have found their way inside.

Here’s a VIP glimpse at some of the Easter eggs fans will discover on their way to the concert.

Gallery Case Room

Upon entering G-Force Records, guests are welcomed by an in-progress gallery case, lovingly curated by Yolanda the Rat.

  • moi-centered homage to Miss Piggy showcasing one of her iconic ensembles—a pink and green polka dot dress with a matching hat.

  • The Muppets Studios recently gifted Kermit’s original banjo, famous for “The Rainbow Connection,” to the Walt Disney Archives. Although the original banjo is securely stored, Imagineers crafted a replica for display.

  • And it wouldn’t be G-Force Records without acknowledging the loudest rockers, The Electric Mayhem. Both Floyd and Janice’s guitars on display are originals from The Muppet Show.

The Alley

With VIP passes, venture into the alley where a rockin’ L.I.M.O. (Lengthy Immediate Motion Object) is ready. Along the way, make sure to pause and enjoy the sights (and numerous easter eggs).

  • You will discover several props brought over from Muppet*Vision 3D, including some of the shipping crates from the building. Fans of the grumpy old men will also find Statler and Waldorf’s theater balcony chairs inside.

  • Gonzo, always one to follow his own path, embarked on a new venture, Gonzo’s Stunt School – Hollywood. The “The Great Gonzo” banner from the pre-show is located nearby, along with his stunt airplane.

  • When it’s time for Gonzo to be launched from a cannon, he has the one from Muppet*Vision that the penguins aimed at the Swedish Chef.

  • For those seeking some dough, pizza boxes from the Hollywood staple PizzeRizzo are close by.

  • Bonus! The Mona Lisa from Mama Melrose has also made its way to the alley.

  • Across the alley, The Squeakeasy is marked as established in 1936, the year Jim Henson was born. Nearby, there are flyers indicating someone has lost a bunny, as Bean Bunny has run away. Laundry is hung outside the fire escape, featuring Fozzie’s bowtie, a PizzeRizzo apron, and a tour shirt for The Electric Mayhem.

  • One of the largest Easter eggs, quite literally, is the “blast off” billboard for Pop Off. Fozzie once hid his Studebaker here in The Muppet Movie.

Muppet Labs Parking Garage

Bunsen and Beaker have been actively engaged in the Muppet Labs Automotive Division, which naturally means they have a few vehicles on hand.

  • For those seeking a quick, compact ride, the Interpol Car from Muppets Most Wanted is now parked in the garage.

  • Fans eager to take Muppets Labs on the road can find the popular Muppet Mobile Labs, which has appeared in EPCOT, Disney California Adventure, and Hong Kong Disneyland, located nearby.

On the Hollywood 101 Freeway

Your stylish ride has arrived. When you're not enthusiastically singing along to the onboard music, you should watch for the Muppet attractions.

  • Zoom past World Wide Studios, the renowned movie studio featured in The Muppet Movie.

  • Is that... is that Rat Pizza? Indeed, it is. The PizzeRizzo sign has found a new spot along the 101.

  • Visitors might also notice a Waldo crossing, a heartfelt tribute to the Spirit of 3D.

Backstage at the Concert

Rock on!

  • As you come to a halt, you'll notice two iconic characters who refuse to join in: Statler and Waldorf from Muppet*Vision 3D!

  • Additionally, the tribute to Jim Henson, which used to be displayed in the rafters during the pre-show, has been relocated. Now, the portrait of Jim Henson as a Muppet is positioned over the editing end of the ride.

Experience a rockin’, rollin’, totally groovalicious ride with The Muppets!
