Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to premiere on the big screen on Friday, May 22, and we're joining the mission to celebrate its arrival across the galaxy. Visitors can anticipate everything from updated attractions and interactive experiences to extraordinary food and merchandise, honoring the tale of Mando and Grogu in exciting new ways!

Now, let’s get ready with our frog-loving companions and dive into the adventure!

New Missions Featuring Mando and Grogu

Prepare to set off on a brand-new journey with Din Djarin and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, debuting May 22, 2026, at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

This new narrative sees Hondo Ohnaka learning about a high-stakes transaction occurring on Tatooine's sands, where former Imperial officers have encountered a fierce group of pirates. With a substantial bounty at stake, guests will take control of the Millennium Falcon, team up with Mando and Grogu, and embark on a bold chase across the stars.

During this attraction, guests can pilot the legendary Millennium Falcon and navigate their own path through the galaxy. Each mission might lead passengers to famous Star Wars locations such as the cloud city of Bespin, the remnants of the second Death Star near Endor, or the towering cityscape of Coruscant, the galactic capital.

Enhancing the experience, each role offers new gameplay moments, interactions, and unexpected surprises. A new interactive feature allows the engineer role to check on Grogu during the mission and make the critical planet choice that determines the course.

On May 16, visitors to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park were thrilled by a surprise visit from Pedro Pascal, who made an appearance at Black Spire Outpost, creating an unforgettable experience for fans in the area.

Later in the evening, the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu joined the adventure, exploring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge together. The group immersed themselves in the sights, sounds, and stories of Batuu as they experienced “The Curious Child” for the first time.

Experience “The Curious Child” at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland

Starting May 16 for a limited period, join the celebration of the film's release by watching Grogu explore his memories of adventures with The Mandalorian in “The Curious Child,” shown after “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland park.

Each night, breathtaking projection effects transform the spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falcon, leading guests on a storytelling journey across the galaxy.

Flavors from the Outer Rim and More

This cherished duo is sparking more than just intergalactic journeys. New food and drink options themed around Mando and Grogu are making their way across the galaxy, offering everything from savory snacks to sweet delights fit for a bounty hunter and his sidekick.

At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, visitors can savor Grogu Cookies, while those at Walt Disney World Resort can also enjoy the Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta. As guests search for tasty treats, they might also find The Mandalorian and Grogu Jetpack Sipper and BDX Droid Bucket at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort (limited to two per person, per transaction; available while supplies last).

More from Across the Galaxy

Fans from across the galaxy can express their love for Star Wars beyond the parks with new Disney account profile avatars inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. Included in the collection are Mando and Grogu themselves, along with beloved characters like Chewbacca and Wicket W. Warrick, offering guests even more ways to celebrate the story through their Disney account.

Artists of all ages can learn step-by-step how to draw the adorable foundling, Grogu, with guidance from a skilled Disney animator at Animation Academy in Disneyland California Adventure park. Whether guests are picking up a pencil for the first time or refining their sketching abilities, this interactive experience provides a fun and creative way to connect with the story. Additionally, guests will leave with their very own Grogu artwork to take home.

Classes are held every 30 minutes throughout the day inside the Disney Animation Building in Hollywood Land, and no reservations are needed. Be sure to check the daily schedule posted outside Animation Academy to see when Grogu is featured.

For a limited period, Disney PhotoPass service is offering new Magic Shots inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.
