Disney Wish

The Deluxe Family Oceanview stateroom on the Disney Wish, felt bright, comfortable, and had plenty of room for our family. One of my favourite parts of every cruise is sitting out on the verandah first thing in the morning with a coffee, listening to the ocean and enjoying the peaceful start to the day. It never gets old. The split bathroom is one of Disney Cruise Line's best features. Having the sink and shower separate from the toilet makes getting everyone ready so much easier, especially when you're travelling as a family. We also appreciated all the storage throughout the room. Between the drawers, shelves, and space under the bed for our luggage, we had no problem keeping everything organized for the week. It quickly felt like our home away from home.

The Deluxe Family Oceanview stateroom on the Disney Wish, felt bright, comfortable, and had plenty of room for our family. Dining Options

One of the things I love most about Disney Cruise Line is the rotational dining. Your serving team moves with you each evening, so by the second night they already know your favourite drinks, remember the kids' preferences, and make every dinner feel special.
On the Disney Wish we dined at 1923, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, and Worlds of Marvel.
1923 was my favourite. I loved the elegant atmosphere, the celebration of Walt Disney's legacy, and the beautiful artwork throughout the restaurant.
Arendelle was so much fun. The live entertainment featuring Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf created such a fun atmosphere that had everyone smiling and singing along.
Worlds of Marvel was a unique interactive experience and especially fun for Marvel fans but honestly not my favourite.
For some of the breakfast and lunch we visited Marceline Market, which offered plenty of variety, and whenever we wanted something quick we headed to Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods. Between pizza, burgers, tacos, barbecue, sandwiches, soft serve ice cream, and room service available 24 hours a day, there was never a shortage of delicious food.
The Disney Wish also has some fantastic lounges and cafés if you're looking for a quieter place to relax with a drink or a snack. We really enjoyed spending time in The Bayou, with its cozy New Orleans atmosphere and live entertainment, and while we didn't spend time in the Keg & Compass, it's a laid-back nautical pub that is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. If you're a Star Wars fan, Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge is one of the ship's most popular experiences, offering an immersive themed cocktail lounge unlike anything else at sea. There are also plenty of coffee bars and lounges throughout the ship, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to sit, relax, and take in the magic.

Entertainment

Disney never disappoints when it comes to entertainment, and the Wish was no exception.
The Broadway-style productions are incredible with The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Disney Seas the Adventure in the Walt Disney Theatre, they are one of our favourite parts of the evenings. We also loved Pirate Night, deck parties, live music throughout the ship, and catching Disney movies on Funnel Vision while relaxing by the pool.
Don't miss out on a visit to the movie theatre to watch Disney films throughout the cruise. It is the perfect way to relax between activities.
Characters were everywhere throughout the sailing, giving us plenty of opportunities for photos and magical moments without feeling rushed.

Pools

We spent a lot of our sea day relaxing in the pools, watching Disney movies on Funnel Vision and enjoying the sunshine.
The AquaMouse was a fun experience and definitely worth riding, while we seen a lot of younger cruisers spending hours enjoying Toy Story Splash Zone.
For adults looking for a quieter escape, Quiet Cove offers a peaceful retreat away from the family pools.

Activities

There is honestly never a shortage of things to do on the Disney Wish.
From trivia and game shows to animation classes, crafts, dance parties, character experiences, and family competitions, there was always something happening somewhere on the ship.
Kids can spend hours exploring Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, while tweens and teens have dedicated spaces at Edge and Vibe to hang out and make new friends.
One of the things I love most about Disney Cruise Line is that you can make your vacation as busy or as relaxing as you want. Whether you're running from activity to activity or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon on your verandah, there's truly something for everyone.
