Disney Fantasy

October 30, 2021

Our stateroom aboard the Disney Fantasy was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. I always appreciate how well Disney designs their staterooms for families, with plenty of storage and thoughtful touches throughout.

My favourite place was out on the verandah, watching the ocean looking for anything beneath the waves.

The split bathroom once again made getting ready easy, and having enough room for everyone's clothes and luggage helped keep the room organized throughout the cruise.

Dining Options

Rotational dining is one of the things that makes Disney Cruise Line so special. Having the same serving team follow you from restaurant to restaurant creates such a personalized experience, and by the second evening they already know your favourite drinks and little details that make dinner feel extra special.
During our cruise we dined at Animator's Palate, Royal Court, and Enchanted Garden.
Animator's Palate is always a highlight and one of those restaurants that never gets old, no matter how many times you experience it. Royal Court offers a beautiful princess-inspired setting, while Enchanted Garden provides a peaceful atmosphere that changes throughout the meal.
For breakfast and lunch we frequently visited Cabanas, where there was always something for everyone. We also grabbed quick meals from Flo's Café, making it easy to grab lunch without missing too much time by the pool.
The Fantasy also has several lounges that are perfect for relaxing throughout the day or enjoying a drink in the evening. Europa features several uniquely themed adult lounges, while O'Gills Pub and Skyline are great places to unwind. Whether you're looking for live entertainment, a specialty cocktail, or simply a quiet place to sit for a while, there's no shortage of inviting spaces around the ship.

Entertainment

Entertainment aboard the Disney Fantasy was fantastic from beginning to end.
The Broadway-style productions, deck parties, Pirate Night, live music, family game shows, and character greetings kept everyone entertained throughout the cruise.
One of our favourite ways to relax was grabbing a chair by the pool and watching Disney movies on Funnel Vision between swims.

Pools

The Disney Fantasy offers something for every age. We spent plenty of time enjoying the family pools and watching movies overhead, while AquaDuck was a must-do more than once during the sailing.
Younger children loved Nemo's Reef, and adults looking for some quiet time could enjoy the adults-only Quiet Cove area.

Activities

There truly is something happening all day long aboard the Disney Fantasy.
From trivia and animation classes to crafts, family competitions, character meet-and-greets, and silent dance parties, there was always another activity waiting around the corner.
The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab offer incredible experiences for younger cruisers, while Edge and Vibe provide dedicated spaces for tweens and teens.
Whether you're constantly on the go or simply enjoying a leisurely day at sea, the Disney Fantasy makes it easy to create the vacation that's perfect for your family.
