This summer, Disney Cruise Line entertainment is more expansive, vibrant, and enchanting than ever before. New and updated entertainment experiences will be introduced across the fleet, offering guests more opportunities to sing, dance, and celebrate at sea. From Broadway-style stage shows and energetic deck parties to destination-inspired moments, entertainment will be in the spotlight throughout the summer.

Alaska Shines with a Day Full of Frozen-Themed Activities

Featuring vast glaciers, majestic mountains, and dynamic lighting, Alaska is naturally cinematic. This summer, Disney Cruise Line enhances this stunning setting with Frozen-themed storytelling crafted specifically for Alaska voyages on the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic.

Guests can enjoy For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, a delightful live show filled with music, performed on the upper deck.

Led by Royal Historians and accompanied by Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff, passengers are encouraged to sing along as the sisters’ adventure from Disney’s Frozen is brought to life.

Set against Alaska’s breathtaking landscapes, the celebration embraces the beloved story and music, mixing playful moments with vibrant, joyful sing-along energy. With lyrics displayed on-screen, it offers a feel-good experience that invites sailors to join in and become part of the story.

For many families, it’s a new way to enjoy a beloved favorite at sea, surrounded by one of the world’s most beautiful destinations.

More Frozen Excitement Throughout the Day

The Frozen Sing-Along Celebration serves as the centerpiece for a full day of Frozen-themed activities on select Alaska sailings, which include:

  • Anna’s Frozen Fun Hunt, a family-friendly scavenger hunt designed for exploration and play.

  • Oaken’s Maypole Swirl & Twirl, a lively atrium dance celebration featuring music and movement for all ages.

  • A Frozen-themed dining experience, where guests can savor traditional Nordic dishes crafted especially for the event, along with special cuisine inspired by the beloved movie — perfect for a royal feast.

Together, these experiences infuse Frozen fun throughout the day, both on and off the stage, transforming any Alaska sailing into a true bucket-list adventure.

Broadway Stars Series Featured on Alaska Cruises

For those who love live theater, the Broadway Stars Series is a must-see on select Disney Cruise Line voyages, including some sailings on Disney Wonder and Disney Magic.

Organized by Disney Destiny's Godmother, Susan Egan, along with Adam J. Levy of 10th & Main Productions, the series brings Broadway and West End performers aboard to deliver live performances and share behind-the-scenes stories from the theater world, with the lineup changing depending on the sailing.

Energetic Deck Parties

From sailaway celebrations to lively dance parties under the open sky, the upper decks transform into the ultimate stage, where music, beloved characters, and shared experiences unite the entire ship from the beginning of the voyage.

Let’s Set Sail

This year, the Disney Cruise Line fleet will feature new entertainment upgrades, including the sail-away experience, with "Let’s Set Sail" becoming the signature deck stage show for departures.

Hosted by Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, this vibrant celebration greets passengers with catchy music, beloved Disney characters, and a festive atmosphere that sets the mood for the voyage.

Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party

This spring, Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party is expanding to more sailings, bringing its lively atmosphere to a wider range of itineraries across the fleet. After its launch on the Disney Wonder in March, the party will make its debut on the Disney Magic in May for select sailings.

With a spinning virtual color wheel as the backdrop, guests can dance with Mickey Mouse and friends to energetic versions of classic Disney songs, offering plenty of opportunities to join in, move, and enjoy the experience together.

New Pirate Adventure with Mickey and Minnie on Select Sailings

Later this year, certain Disney Cruise Line sailings will introduce Mickey & Minnie’s Pirates in the Caribbean, a refreshed pirate experience inspired by the adventurous spirit of the high seas.

Launching this spring aboard the Disney Wonder and debuting on the Disney Magic after the Alaska season, the experience includes lively music, interactive moments, and appearances by beloved Disney characters dressed in their pirate attire.

In addition to the festivities, select pirate-themed activities will continue to evolve by ship and sailing, including the newly updated Match Your Matey which welcomes friends and groups beyond couples for a playful twist to pirate nights at sea.

Plan Your Next Adventure

From Frozen fun specifically designed for Alaska sailings to Broadway-style productions, high-energy deck parties, and a new pirate adventure with Mickey and Minnie, Disney Cruise Line’s entertainment creates unforgettable moments at sea.

Whether Alaska is at the top of the bucket list or guests are dreaming of another destination, summer is the ideal time to set sail with entertainment crafted to bring families together and celebrate every shared moment.
