The Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party has made its debut at Disneyland Resort!

On select nights from August 18 to October 31, 2026, this separately ticketed, after-hours event at Disney California Adventure Park brings Halloween fun and chaos for everyone.

As of the time of publishing, tickets are still available for certain dates.

What Does a Ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash Include?

On event nights, the festivities officially start at 6:00 p.m. and last until 11:00 p.m., offering five thrilling hours of exclusive Halloween experiences at this after-hours celebration.

Pre-party park mix-in: Oogie Boogie Bash tickets grant entry to California Adventure as early as 3:00 p.m. – three hours before the party kicks off! During this period, you can explore attractions available during regular park hours.

Photos from the event: You can enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the party. You can scan the QR code on your event wristband via the Disneyland app to access your photo gallery, with downloads available from your MyDisney account for up to 45 days after the photos are taken.

Commemorative event guide: This beautifully crafted map serves as a useful reference during the party and a collectible keepsake afterward to remember the visit.

Oogie Boogie Bash Costume Tips and Dress Code

One of the highlights of Oogie Boogie Bash is the chance for everyone to wear costumes. You are encouraged to get creative, come up with a clever disguise, or embrace your villainous side, as long as you adhere to the costume guidelines.

Tip: Bring a sweater for when the breeze turns chilly. Comfortable shoes are also highly recommended.

Treat Trails and Character Encounters

Both kids and adults can collect treats at treat trails throughout Disney California Adventure (you will receive a treat bag upon arrival at the party). However, be prepared to encounter villains and other iconic characters along the way, such as Yzma from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Emperor’s New Groove.

Cast members are stationed at every Treat Trail to provide alternative options for anyone seeking allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added treats.

You can also meet Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes, with some making rare appearances at special greeting spots around the park.

This Halloween season, “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” is brought to life with eerie music, lively dancing, and beloved happy haunts. It’s a wicked gathering that you can only experience during Oogie Boogie Bash.

For an additional fee, the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party offers reserved seating for the street party, delicious treats, beverages, and more. As the party moves through the park, savor a triple chocolate cheesecake, a Dubai chocolate-inspired filled bundt cake with pistachio crunch, and more. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.

Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

Villains Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is a walkthrough featuring surreal scenescapes inspired by iconic Disney Villains.

Mystical lights, sights, and sounds envelop you in the atmospheres of Dr. Facilier, Frollo, Scar, and other beloved baddies.

In addition to the special party features, enjoy shorter wait times for select attractions. It’s a perfect chance to experience popular rides like Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark!, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Incredicoaster, and more.
