From Sunrise Sips to Fireworks Views: New Spaces Coming to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge

Exciting developments are underway along the shores of Bay Lake as Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge progresses. Walt Disney Imagineers are diligently crafting new areas for families and friends to come together, enjoy morning coffee, relax in the afternoons, and take in breathtaking nighttime vistas. Here is an initial glimpse of some of the thrilling new venues guests can experience when the resort opens next summer.

Your Lakeshore Lodge Arrival

Upon entering Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, guests will find themselves surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature in the lobby. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows will invite natural sunlight and offer breathtaking views of The Wetlands outdoor recreation area, seamlessly blending the local flora and fauna with the architecture, artwork, and atmosphere.

Inspired by the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios’Pocahontas, a gleaming fiberoptic river will light up the floor, while a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture featuring hundreds of suspended glass leaves will fill the space with movement, color, and wonder.

The lobby design will incorporate natural materials, with custom tapestries inspired by the film’s landscapes and carefully crafted furnishings accented with river-recovered cypress wood.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will feature three unique dining experiences for guests to enjoy during their stay. From convenient grab-and-go options to unforgettable waterfront dining, each venue is thoughtfully designed to emphasize the resort’s connection to the natural beauty of Bay Lake.

Moonglade

Moonglade, situated along the lakefront, will provide a captivating dining experience with table service, where breathtaking water views accompany each meal. Guests will savor meticulously crafted dishes made with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

Floor-to-ceiling windows will showcase the elegantly curving cypress trees along Bay Lake, where artistic lighting and subtle design capture the dance of light and shadow.

Bay Lake Provisions

Bay Lake Provisions is the ideal place to energize for a day of adventure or unwind after a relaxing afternoon by the pool. This all-day, quick-service marketplace will feature specialty coffees and fresh dishes in a welcoming open-kitchen setting.

Additionally, the space is sprinkled with a touch of hidden magic, as guests can discover woodland creatures inspired by cherished Disney classics throughout the area.

Paint Out Point Bar & Grill

After enjoying the sun, visitors can satisfy their hunger at Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, located near Lakeshore Lagoon.

Here, they can savor shareable snacks and unique drinks while taking in the stunning natural scenery of The Wetlands. Inspired by plein-air painting, this pool bar will feature a display of original artwork crafted by Imagineers, who drew their inspiration from the Bay Lake landscapes.

Dandelion Terrace

Once the sun goes down, visitors can gather at Dandelion Terrace to watch the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks illuminate the sky above Bay Lake.

The lounge will feature a two-story gallery showcasing archival artwork from Disney classics such as Fantasia, along with whimsical dandelion light fixtures that bring a magical touch to the area. Gentle lighting and expansive views provide the ideal atmosphere to relax and enjoy the nighttime spectacle.
