This holiday season, Walt Disney World has a wealth of activities planned for kids, parents, grandparents, and anyone seeking joyful fun.

Celebrating the holidays at Disney World includes “snow” in Florida and Christmas cheer, with special events like Disney Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Guests can explore global traditions at EPCOT, dance with the Merry Menagerie, and shop for stocking stuffers at Disney Springs.

From November 13 to January 6, 2027, Walt Disney World will be adorned with Christmas decor, themed food and beverages, characters in festive outfits, special holiday entertainment, new merchandise, deals, discounts, and more.

Here’s all guests need to know about the 2026 holiday season at Disney World and how to make the most of their visit.

Experience Nostalgic Holiday Fun at Magic Kingdom

Upon entering Magic Kingdom and seeing Cinderella Castle from Main Street, U.S.A., guests will find themselves in the ideal spot to check off items from their holiday bucket list.

Enjoy the Wintry Thrill of “Frozen Holiday Surprise!”

Join Olaf and over 100 of his snowgie siblings as they decorate Cinderella Castle with garlands, ornaments, and wreaths during “Frozen Holiday Surprise!”

With appearances by Anna, Kristoff, and a magical moment from Elsa transforming Cinderella Castle into a glowing ice palace, this nighttime show is a must-see.

Catch Elsa and other Disney characters in Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, a spectacular parade held twice nightly (subject to cancellation).

Note that Disney Starlight will not occur on nights when Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Instead, guests can enjoy Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Disney Starlight will continue to illuminate the park on non-party nights, as the cold never bothered us anyway.

Marvel at Stunning Holiday Decor Throughout the Park

Magic Kingdom boasts some of the most iconic holiday photo spots at Walt Disney World, with beautiful areas perfect for Christmas card-worthy photos.

With festive trimmings along Main Street, U.S.A. and throughout the park, guests can capture perfect photos at iconic locations like Cinderella Castle, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion during their multi-day visit.

Take Little Ones on the Famous Jingle Cruise

The Jingle Cruise returns in 2026 for a festive adventure, as skippers guide guests through the world’s most treacherous waters.

Guests will enjoy holiday-themed gags along their 10-minute, 10,000-mile journey and should listen closely as skippers entertain with jolly pun-filled fun.

The fun begins in the queue, where the skippers have decorated the loading area with holiday lights, sights, and sounds.

On select nights, celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. This separately ticketed event features festive entertainment, ride overlays, a storybook holiday atmosphere, sweet treats, and more! Check Disney Travel News for details.
