Guide to Holidays at the Disneyland Resort 2026

Prepare to experience the magic of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort! Enjoy sparkling decorations, cheerful entertainment, and festive fun starting November 13, 2026, continuing through January 6, 2027.  

During this joyful season, visitors to The Happiest Place on Earth will find fun for everyone. Families can partake in cherished seasonal traditions at Disneyland Park and enjoy cultural performances and tasty treats during the Disney Festival of Holidays, featuring Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, at Disney California Adventure Park.  

You can join in the joy and tradition of visiting Santa, who will make appearances at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, to hear Christmas wishes and spread holiday cheer.

2026 Holiday Festivities at Disneyland Park

This season is truly enchanting at The Happiest Place on Earth! As visitors wander along Main Street, U.S.A., past the iconic 60-foot Christmas tree, they can admire the sparkle of Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, where 80,000 glowing lights turn the castle into a snowy, glittering spectacle every evening during the holiday season.

Join in the festivities with the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour, where guests can explore beloved Disneyland holiday traditions, listen to heartwarming tales about Walt Disney and his family, enjoy reserved seating for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade,” and more. This experience is available for an additional fee. Further details will be provided on Disneyland.com at a later time.

New Season’s Greetings 

In Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., you can look out for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and some of their friends dressed in their new holiday outfits that embody the spirit of festive travel and a snowy alpine gathering. 

You can ensure you're on Santa's nice list this year by visiting him at his new spot in Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn, near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, with your wish list ready! On the way to meet jolly St. Nick, children and their families can stop by "Bluey's Best Day Ever!" in Disneyland Park to dance and move as Bluey and her sister, Bingo, continue to appear at the Fantasyland Theatre.  

Holiday Entertainment at Disneyland Park

Experience the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks show, set against the stunning backdrops of Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, "it's a small world" Holiday, or the Rivers of America. These locations, along with parts of Main Street, U.S.A., are adorned with enchanting "snowfall."

Find a cozy spot along the parade route at Disneyland Park to enjoy "A Christmas Fantasy Parade." This festive event features a delightful procession of reindeer, toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies, and more, culminating in a grand finale with Santa Claus.

Holiday Ride Overlays at Disneyland Park 

Inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Haunted Mansion Holiday offers a festive twist on this cherished attraction during the holiday season. Celebrating 25 years of spectacular confectionary designs, the annual gingerbread house in the attraction takes shape as a charmingly monstrous music box within the ballroom scene.  

For additional magical experiences, “it’s a small world” Holiday revamps the classic ride with joyful tunes and whimsical decorations. Additionally, the exterior serves as a perfect holiday photo setting, featuring 400,000 lights that illuminate the façade, along with ornate landscaping and a cute Santa hat on the clockface. 

‘Tis the Season at Disney California Adventure Park

At Disney California Adventure Park, "World of Color – Season of Light" makes its return on Nov. 13, 2026, for the holiday season. This nighttime show captures the essence of the holidays, showcasing classic films such as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Beauty and the Beast along with beloved favorites like Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out.

Additionally, enjoy a variety of special holiday experiences at Disney California Adventure Park, from the Holiday Toy Drummers in Paradise Gardens Park to Mickey Mouse and friends dressed in their winter outfits on Buena Vista Street. 

Visit Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, which becomes a festive playground for Santa's Holiday Visit! Children can participate in seasonal games and outdoor activities before meeting Santa to share how good they've been this year. 

Experience Holiday Magic at Cars Land

You will be filled with joy upon entering Cars Land, where vibrant lights, wreaths, bows, and festive cheer welcome them for the holiday season! Each day at sunset, you can witness the festive lights come alive during the "Sh-boom" moment, marking the shift from day to night.  

Additionally, Cars Land features whimsical winter overlays on attractions: Luigi's Joy to the Whirl and Mater's Jingle Jamboree.  

2026 Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park

No holiday tradition is complete without delightful food and drinks to enhance the celebration! The Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park features six marketplaces offering both new selections and returning favorites for the season.

You can explore a wide range of flavors at this year's Disney Festival of Holidays by purchasing a Sip and Savor Pass. This scannable pass includes six digital coupons, redeemable for select food and nonalcoholic items at participating marketplaces and dining locations throughout the season.

Join Mickey Mouse and friends for "Mickey's Happy Holidays" cavalcade, where families can enjoy dancing to the cheerful beats of the Holiday Toy Drummers as they make their way from Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Land at selected times each day.  

Visit Paradise Garden Bandstand for lively daily performances during the holiday season, featuring a variety of live bands and cultural performance groups.  

On certain days on Buena Vista Street, immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with "A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!" where Miguel from Pixar's Coco and Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland present joyful bilingual holiday music. 

Additionally, "Mirabel's Gifts of the Season" returns on selected days, showcasing Mirabel from Disney Animation's Encanto along with some of her friends. Enjoy live performances of songs from the film during this seasonal show at Paradise Gardens Park.  

Celebrate Culture and Family at Disney ¡Viva Navidad! 

Explore the rich cultures and traditions of Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, a festive event inspired by the holiday customs, music, dance, and storytelling from various parts of Latin America.  

On select days, experience the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, which features The Three Caballeros, folklorico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, drummers, and appearances by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their holiday outfits.  

You might also meet The Three Caballeros, along with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy in their special holiday attire at Paradise Gardens Park in Disney California Adventure Park at certain times.  

Cozy Holiday Offerings at Hotels of the Disneyland Resort 

You can continue enjoying the holiday atmosphere at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, where they will find decorations, seasonal displays, special experiences, holiday carolers, and more. Visitors can meet Santa at specific times, as he visits the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. 

At Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, admire the 7-foot-tall gingerbread display in the lobby, which is inspired by the hotel’s architecture and includes whimsical Disney details.  

Experience the blend of holiday joy and Disney enchantment at hotel character dining events, showcasing seasonal dishes and Disney characters in themed attire, from Nov. 16, 2026, to Jan. 3, 2027.

Experience more holiday enchantment at the Downtown Disney District! Starting Nov. 13, 2026, the area transforms into a winter wonderland, featuring sparkling decorations, seasonal food and drinks, and festive entertainment, including a nightly "snowfall"! 

At the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage, enjoy nightly entertainment with everything from holiday music performances to lively DJs and bands where the entire family can dance along. 

From Nov. 11, 2026, to Jan. 6, 2027, Chip and Dale's Ornament Trail returns! Purchase an activity map from a participating retail spot, embark on a search, and exchange the map at a redemption location to receive a special ornament keepsake.

Explore festive flavors throughout the district, with seasonal menu items, sweet treats, and beverages available at participating locations.

Bring the Disney holiday magic home with seasonal collections like the Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection, Holiday Pastel Collection, Disney Vintage Holiday Collection, and more! This season's must-have novelties include the Mickey Train Light Up Bucket and the Holiday Stitch Christmas Tree Sipper.
