Disneyland Resort 2026 Calendar, Events and Offers

To assist in planning vacations for the upcoming year, Disneyland is releasing the 2026 festival dates.

With the fan-favorite character Bluey making her eagerly awaited debut and the continuation of the historic Disneyland Resort 70^th Celebration, 2026 offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy quality time with friends and family at The Happiest Place on Earth.

Disneyland Resort 70^th Celebration Continues Until Aug. 9, 2026

In 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70^th Celebration will carry on celebrating seven decades of joy.

Starting in January, the lineup of anniversary entertainment will return in full force, building on the offerings that extended through the 2025 Halloween and Holiday seasons, including “World of Color Happiness!” and “Tapestry of Happiness.”

This enchanting milestone celebration is available for a limited time! The last opportunity to experience the wonder of the 70^th Celebration will be Aug. 9, 2026.

Bluey Arrives at Disneyland Park on March 22, 2026

Starting March 22, 2026, and running throughout the year, "Bluey’s Best Day Ever!" will be featured at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park, highlighting the charm and humor of the acclaimed Disney+ animated series, Bluey.

This engaging, family-friendly event will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the setting of Bluey’s school, where you can experience Bluey’s best day ever. Throughout the event, Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear live on stage, accompanied by a group of comedic actors and musicians. Together, they will bring to life the popular music and games from beloved Bluey episodes, encouraging young families and guests of all ages to join in the fun.

From lively live musical performances that flow effortlessly into iconic games like Keepy Uppy, to interactive adventures in a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, it’s a special occasion where play is encouraged and memories are made by everyone. Guests can explore the fair at Bluey’s school with the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse, and enjoy select themed favorite foods at Troubadour Tavern, inspired by the animated series.

2026 Festivals and Limited-Time Celebrations

Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park (Jan. 23-Feb. 22): Celebrate the Year of the Horse with appearances by Horace Horsecollar during this vibrant festival that highlights Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be back in their Korean-themed outfits, and this year, several Disney characters will unveil new attire inspired by Vietnamese and Chinese cultures. Visitors can also encounter a character from Pixar Animation Studios' “Turning Red.”

Celebrate Gospel (Feb. 20-21 and Feb. 27-Feb.28): In 2026, this inspiring annual concert will relocate to Downtown Disney District, offering two weekends of performances by Southern California community choirs and featuring headline acts Hezekiah Walker (Feb. 21) and Yolanda Adams (Feb. 28).

Anaheim Ducks Day (Feb. 22): This beloved event returns for a day at California Adventure, showcasing appearances by select Anaheim Ducks players and Wild Wing, along with hockey-themed entertainment, activities, photo opportunities, and more.

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (March 6-April 27): Celebrating California's rich culinary offerings, food enthusiasts can enjoy exclusive food options, beverage seminars, cooking demonstrations, and family-friendly entertainment.

Disney On the Yard – Yardfest: Powered by Celebrate Soulfully (June 19): This community event returns to Downtown Disney District for its second year. Experience a celebration of the spirit and traditions of historically Black colleges and universities, featuring drum majors and Drum Major Mickey Mouse with a drumline.

D23 Day at Disneyland Resort (Aug. 13) and Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party (Aug. 13-16): The countdown to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event begins with D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, a one-day event where all guests visiting Disneyland Resort can enjoy magical surprises, themed moments, and fan-favorite experiences celebrating the worlds of Disney. Additionally, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party returns for a special one-day event for families with young children at Disney California Adventure park featuring live entertainment, Disney Jr. characters, activities, and fun photo opportunities, followed by a three-day event at Downtown Disney District.

Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort (Aug. 21-Oct. 31): Guests of all ages can enjoy festive frights and pumpkin delights, including seasonal attractions, family-friendly entertainment, and autumnal decorations throughout the resort. 

Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park (Aug. 21-Nov. 2): The annual celebration of family bonds and the spirit of Día De Los Muertos returns, inspired by the Oscar®-winning Pixar film “Coco.”

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort (Begins Nov. 18): Families can enjoy diverse and beloved holiday traditions during this whimsical winter season, featuring enchanting décor, joyful entertainment, and festive foods. This season also includes the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park.

2026 Separately Ticketed, After-Hours Events

For those who love Disney magic after dark, attending an after-hours event is a must! These events require separate tickets and are open to guests of all ages. They offer special themes, a pre-party park mix-in, reduced wait times for select attractions, exclusive food and drinks, vibrant entertainment, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the event.

Disneyland After Dark 2026

In 2026, Disneyland After Dark will present five themed after-hours events at Disneyland Park, featuring four beloved returning themes and introducing one brand-new theme.

New and Returning Experiences

Alongside limited-time events, festivals, and separately ticketed offerings, Disneyland Resort is bringing even more magic in 2026 and beyond.

New Mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

A new mission is arriving at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park. This brand-new story, featuring “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” will debut on May 22, 2026, coinciding with the release of the new Star Wars film in theaters that same weekend.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates about Star Wars experiences at Disneyland, including the limited-time return of Hyperspace Mountain starting April 28.

Soarin’ Across America

To celebrate America’s 250^th anniversary, the beloved attraction Soarin’ will introduce an all-new airborne adventure across the U.S., starting at Disneyland Resort on July 2, 2026. This attraction, titled Soarin’ Across America, will highlight the nation's natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.

New Restaurants and Shopping at Downtown Disney District

After introducing Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, Parkside Market, Disney Storyland Boutique, and Nectar Life in 2025, Downtown Disney District continues its thrilling transformation with the arrival of Earl of Sandwich and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, along with athletic apparel retailer lululemon, scheduled for 2026.

Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour

The Disneyland Railroad guided tour will return to Disneyland park on January 16, 2026. Reservations will be available on Disneyland.com starting January 8.

Embark on a journey to explore Walt Disney’s love for trains and ride in the Presidential Car of the Disneyland Railroad, the Lilly Belle.

Work Underway on Future Expansion

Additionally, as previously mentioned, guests will notice some exciting projects beginning in 2026. In both the Esplanade and Disney California Adventure Park, construction will commence for the future expansion of Disneyland Resort, featuring the first-ever attraction themed to Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco,” and the upcoming Avatar destination. Construction for the expansion of Avengers Campus is already in progress.
