Walt Disney Audio-Animatronics Figure Coming to the Carousel of Progress

Soon, visitors will have the opportunity to see Walt Disney brought to life through the magic of Audio-Animatronics technology in “Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress” at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort. Many more details are yet to be unveiled, including what John, Sarah, and the rest of the family are doing. Disney Imagineers cherish this attraction, and while its core will remain unchanged, it will be introduced to a whole new generation of fans, demonstrating that a great big, beautiful tomorrow is just a dream away.
New Tron: Ares Ride Overlay Announced for TRON Lightcycle / Run

When guests next venture into the digital realm with TRON Lightcycle / Run, they'll embark on a Tron: Ares version of the thrilling, high-speed ride that transforms reality into a video game experience. Instead of the usual blue and orange hues, guests will navigate through twisting tunnels of vibrant red and orange light trails, experiencing the wind's rush and the surge of acceleration as they partake in a spectacular Lightcycle race. Enhancing the immersive visuals, the pulsating industrial sounds of Nine Inch Nails will amplify the ride’s energy.

For over 50 years, Cinderella Castle has greeted visitors along Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. A new artist's rendering was revealed, showcasing an updated color palette that includes grays, creams, blues, and hints of gold. This new palette draws inspiration from the castle's classic and original appearance, intending to highlight its architectural features.
New Details About the Architectural Inspirations for Villains-Themed Land at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney Imagineering provided updates on the inspiration for the villains-themed land coming to Magic Kingdom. The team revealed that the development journey started with the animation source material and the artists from Walt Disney Animation Studios who created it.
Imagineers traveled to Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain, to explore the architecture and unique characteristics of each city. They specifically examined Art Nouveau architecture, focusing on the distinctive form, scale, and color that define this style. By collaborating with local professors and art and architectural historians, Imagineers gained an in-depth understanding of the architectural aesthetics that will inspire the overall design of the land.

First Look: New Concept Art for Napa Rose at Disneyland

We received an exclusive preview of Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which is undergoing an exciting renovation. A brand-new artist rendering was revealed, highlighting the restaurant’s outdoor dining area, with Disney California Adventure park providing a stunning backdrop for a unique culinary experience.
The outdoor patio is being carefully upgraded to accommodate more guests for al fresco dining. Two new fireplaces will provide a warm, flickering ambiance across the patio, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Disneyland Handcrafted: Trailer Revealed for New Documentary Coming This Winter

Oscar and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Leslie Iwerks, known for her strong connection to Disney, has announced her new documentary film Disneyland Handcrafted, set to debut this winter on Disney+ and Disney YouTube.
In Disneyland Handcrafted, viewers will experience the thrill of Disneyland's creation as it was being constructed over 70 years ago. The film offers a unique behind-the-scenes look beyond the orange groves, featuring ASMR moments and using rarely seen footage that Leslie carefully selected from the Walt Disney Archives. It showcases the meticulous thought and care involved in developing Disneyland.

On a journey aboard the Disney Destiny, guests have the opportunity to explore The Sanctum, Haunted Mansion Parlor, and Cask & Cannon. These themed areas draw inspiration from the grand characters of iconic Disney tales, brought to life through sophisticated interpretation and detailed theming.
The Disney Cruise Line Beverage Operations Team introduced three new beverages that guests can savor during their cruise on the Destiny.
Mirror Dimension at The Sanctum: Made with Stoli Elit Vodka, Lychee, Fresh Lemon Juice, Pink Peppercorn, and Eletricdust Buzz Rock, this mesmerizing cocktail will touch all your senses with a special glass that reacts to touch, and an electrifying dust that will leave your taste buds tingling.
The Chilling Challenge: My Way at Haunted Mansion Parlor: The popular drink of the same name on the Disney Treasure will feature all-new ingredients on the Disney Destiny, including Camus VSOP Cognac, Cointreau Noir, Joto Yuzu Sake, Orange Blossom Foam, and Edible Viola Flowers.
Dead Man’s Chest at Cask & Cannon: This new beverage experience for two will include drinks that capture the true spirit of a pirate’s life on the high seas. Made with Zacapa 23 Solera Rum, Pineapple, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, and Coconut Froth, this cocktail will fully immerse you in the cozy ship’s cabin atmosphere of Cask & Cannon – complete with gold coins!
New “Meet and Play” Character Encounter with Dr. Facilier Coming to Disney Destiny

The Disney Signature Experiences Live Entertainment team announced a new “meet and play” character interaction featuring the playfully sinister Dr. Facilier coming to the Disney Destiny. This cleverly charming illusionist might be found roaming the upper levels of the Grand Hall or in his own makeshift parlor, inviting guests to enjoy a card trick or sleight of hand – he's simply here to make new friends…
