Experience entertainment and activities inspired by beloved Disney Jr. tales and characters at Disney California Adventure Park on August 13, 2026, before the celebration extends into a three-day event at Downtown Disney District from August 14 to August 16, 2026.

This cherished event coincides with D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort, a one-day celebration featuring Disney fandom excitement, special entertainment, and more on August 13, preceding D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim.

The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party returns to Disney California Adventure on August 13, inviting all park guests, including preschoolers and their families, to enjoy live entertainment, meet popular Disney Jr. characters, and more!

This exclusive, one-day event, designed for families with young children, celebrates beloved Disney Jr. characters and stories from hit series like “Sofia the First: Royal Magic,” “SuperKitties,” and “Spidey and his Amazing Friends.”

Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party

Don't miss the highlight of the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party – the “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party!” Starting at 10:30 a.m., this vibrant celebration will parade through Hollywood Land in California Adventure, making stops on Hollywood Boulevard and at Carthay Circle. Enjoy music, dance, and decorated vehicles featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other iconic Disney Jr. characters.

Other Disney Jr. Offerings

The excitement continues! Hollywood Land will host a variety of Disney Jr. activities for the whole family. At the Hollywood Backlot Stage, kids can dance with Mickey Mouse and friends during “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Live.”

Guests might also spot Sofia the First, from the Disney Jr. series, “Sofia the First: Royal Magic,” showcasing her new outfit, as well as Spidey and other characters making special appearances for a limited time.

Children aged 3 to 11 can learn how food magic brings everyone together and decorate cupcakes with the cat-tastic superheroes from “SuperKitties” during “Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties,” also at the Hollywood Backlot Stage. Space is limited, and sign-ups begin 45 minutes before each showtime. 

Young ones and their families can get creative at the Disney Jr. Let’s Play Craft Zone in Hollywood Land, and at Animation Academy, artists of all ages can learn to draw Pepper, Sofia’s charming pet puppy-unicorn, from “Sofia the First: Royal Magic,” along with other Disney Jr. characters.

Guests can capture memories with a photobooth in Hollywood Land for a Disney Jr.-themed photo strip of their group for an additional fee, or pose at unique photo spots in the area. Disney Jr. merchandise is available at Studio Store and Elias & Co in California Adventure.

For those seeking a cool break, visit the Disney Theater for an indoor dance party with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and friends during “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!,” part of the regular family offerings at California Adventure.

Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party Continues at Downtown Disney District – August 14-16, 2026

From August 14 to August 16, the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party continues at Downtown Disney with various activities throughout the day. The Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and Lawn will keep the festivities going all weekend with a range of family-friendly entertainment and activities.

Kids can keep dancing at DJ dance parties or enjoy The Bubbles Experience presented by Disney Jr. Family crafts will be available at the Disney Jr. Let’s Play Craft Zone near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.

To make the weekend even more memorable, there will be additional unique photo spots in Downtown Disney for guests and their “fan fam” to capture this special celebration.
