Featuring one brand-new theme and four returning ones, the 2026 Disneyland After Dark events promise enchanting evenings filled with love, memories, nostalgia, adventure, and community for guests of all ages! 

Disneyland After Dark events are separately ticketed, themed nights offering access to Disneyland park and select attractions after-hours (often with shorter wait times), imaginative entertainment, character meet-and-greets, delicious food and drinks, exclusive merchandise collections, and much more!

The celebrations occur on select nights from January through June 2026.

What’s Included with a Disneyland After Dark Ticket

Each Disneyland After Dark event happens at Disneyland park, starting at 9 p.m. and running until 1 a.m., offering 4 hours of nighttime fun after the park closes!

Pre-party park mix-in: Entry to Disneyland After Dark also grants access to Disneyland park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., providing a three-hour prelude before the festivities begin! During this time, guests should explore the attractions available during regular park hours.

Photos from the party: Guests can enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass* photos taken during the party. This means there’s no limit to the memories they can create! They just scan the QR code on their event wristband via the Disneyland app** to access their photo gallery.

Commemorative event guide: Along with the uniquely themed fun, their admission ticket includes a commemorative keepsake and event guide map. The map is useful during the party and so beautifully designed, they'll want to keep it as a collectible souvenir to remember their visit.

Sweethearts’ Nite Entertainment

New for 2026, the “Celebrate Love Cavalcade” will parade down Main Street, U.S.A., in a grand tribute to loved ones: best friends, soulmates, and family. Guests can watch for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends as they fill the air with love during this magical procession.

Also new for 2026, the romantic “Once Upon a Dream - A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook” show offers a musical exploration of love and romance, featuring live singers and various Disney royalty, culminating in a nighttime ball under the stars. 

Join in the fun with the new Disney Duets festive karaoke at the beloved Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland, featuring a unique Disney flair. 

Guests can dance to their heart’s content with Donald Duck and Daisy Duck at the Valentine’s Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. 

Scenic photo backdrops throughout the park invite guests to “step into the scenes” of beloved films such as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Aristocats,” “Tangled,” “Aladdin,” “Lady and the Tramp,” and more.

Sweethearts’ Nite Specialty Food 

As the saying goes, the way to the heart is through the stomach! Guests will adore specially curated sweet and savory treats.  

New for 2026 at Galactic Grill is a triple berry slushy with a Mickey-shaped glow cube. Returning favorites include surf n’ turf loaded fries at Red Rose Taverne and Mickey-shaped strawberry cream puff at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante. 

Additional specialty menu items will be available at table-service restaurants: Cafe Orleans, River Belle Terrace, and Carnation Café, subject to availability. Sweethearts’ Nite Merchandise

The perfect keepsake is one that guests can flaunt both during and after the event! This year's lineup features a Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse ear headband, a trading pin, a T-shirt, a zip-up hoodie, and a tumbler.

Magic Key pre-sale: On Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025 (starting at 9 a.m. PT), Inspire Key holders can purchase from a limited selection of pre-sale tickets for Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite on Disneyland.com. Then, on Wednesday, Dec. 10, (starting at 9 a.m. PT) all Magic Key holders will have the chance to buy from a limited number of pre-sale tickets.

General: On Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025 (starting at 9 a.m. PT), tickets will be available for purchase by the general public. Tickets are limited and subject to availability.*** 

Dates and Details for Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites

This brand-new theme, 70 Years of Favorites, invites guests on a nostalgic journey celebrating seven decades of unforgettable experiences at the cherished theme park. Drawing inspiration from the Disneyland Resort 70^th Celebration, it brings together the highlights of Disneyland events, including tributes to beloved musical moments, shows, and characters.

Guests will be surrounded by memories of Disneyland's past as they embark on a symbolic stroll down memory lane with these offerings that honor the park’s history.

70 Years of Beloved Entertainment

Guests should prepare to swing and sway to the delightful rhythms of swing dancing at the Royal Theatre in Fantasyland. In the past, this was the gathering spot for the coolest cats and the swingiest bands. Now, it's guests' turn to shine on the dance floor!

Experience the full return of neon nostalgia as guests lace up their dancing shoes for the Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. This ultimate ‘80s throwback party features a live DJ, nonstop ‘80s music, and classic retro décor. 

Guests can enjoy line dancing at The Golden Horseshoe — stepping in rhythm to this heartfelt tribute to “Woody’s Round Up,” the beloved cowboy show that was a staple on the Frontierland stage in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. 

Sentimental photo opportunities scattered throughout Disneyland park will evoke memories of past entertainment like “Mad T Party,” “Main Street Electrical Parade,” and Club Buzz, along with some favorite attractions. Get ready to pose!

Guests can reconnect with characters from the past, meeting some of your cherished “Long Lost Friends” from Disney Afternoon, “Mother” and “Father” from Carousel of Progress, Merlin, Flik and Atta, and the Fantasmic! Monkeys.

70 Years of Beloved Food

Guests can indulge in new themed food and drinks that pay homage to Disneyland kitchens of the past, including:

• Mushroom Philly sandwich (plant-based) and maple bacon cinnamon roll at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

• Birria mac and cheese in a bread bowl at Refreshment Corner

• Gaston Brew at Red Rose Taverne
