Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park

At the start of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, the Haunted Mansion Holiday transforms the classic attraction into a seasonal experience inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

As guests journey through the Stretching Room, into their black sleigh, and across the eerie estate, they will see Jack Skellington and the inhabitants of Halloween Town taking over, showing what happens when two holidays collide.

With festive scenes, updated decor, holiday-themed music, and plenty of playful spooks, the attraction takes on a unique tone during the fall and winter months.

Haunted Mansion Holiday Fun Fact: Last year, Walt Disney Imagineers updated the Audio-Animatronics figure of Oogie Boogie near the ride's end, featuring a revised pose and silhouette design.

Created with a new design each season, this ever-evolving display has become a tradition for returning guests eager to see what Disney Live Entertainment creates yearly.

Beyond the ballroom, additional details have been added throughout the Mansion for explorers. While Jack and Zero greet guests heading into the graveyard, Sally and other Halloween Town residents interact with familiar ghosts, adding a playful twist to Grim Grinning Ghosts, before a final encounter with the villainous Oogie Boogie.

Haunted Mansion Holiday Fun Fact: When Haunted Mansion Holiday debuted in October 2001, new dialogue was needed for Madame Leota. The holiday version of Madame Leota was cast using the face of Kim Irvine, a Disneyland Imagineer and daughter of Leota Toombs, the original Madame Leota.

Guests can travel along the Seven Seaways canal and discover familiar scenes with festive overlays. Each region in the attraction celebrates the holidays uniquely, from Mele Kalikimaka cheer in the South Pacific to Feliz Navidad fun in Mexico, along with New Year traditions reflected across Europe and Asia.

The attraction’s iconic music also takes on a seasonal twist, blending It’s a Small World (After All) with holiday classics like Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls into a seamless musical arrangement that guests will hum all night long.

Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park

At Disney California Adventure, the residents of Radiator Springs have exchanged their usual routines for the energetic fun of the holiday season, featuring holiday music, festive personality, and two attractions with seasonal overlays.

Mater’s Jingle Jamboree

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree dresses up for the holidays during Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, where the lovable tow truck leads with seasonal tunes featuring his signature humor and original lyrics.

The queue is filled with festive elements and Easter eggs, as tractors spin and swing around the yard, with garland, lights, and decor transforming the area into a true holiday hoedown.

Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl

Just down the road on Route 66, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters joins the Radiator Springs holiday fun with Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, where Luigi and his extended family celebrate the season in style with festive dances to tunes sung by Luigi himself.

Once guests make their way through the queue, they can take a seat in a classic Italian import and enjoy the ride as cars glide, spin, pivot, and cruise to the music, participating in synchronized choreography and dancing along to a lively, wintry soundtrack.
